Our Foundational Beliefs

We believe there is one living and true God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things. Within the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are one in eternity, essence, and purpose, everlasting in power, wisdom, and goodness.

We believe Jesus is the Word Incarnate, sent to reconcile humanity to God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, suffered, was crucified, and died for the sins of the world. Jesus rose victorious from the dead and will return to judge all people.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, proceeding from the Father and the Son. The Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and is the active presence of God in salvation, empowering believers with grace and guiding them in truth.

We believe the Bible is God’s written Word—unerring, uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the ultimate authority for our lives. It reveals the truth about God, creation, humanity, and the eternal purpose of His kingdom.

We believe God created humans in His image, granting free will to choose between good and evil. Through Adam’s sin, all people are born with a corrupted nature and are inclined to sin. By God’s grace, we are able to be reconciled, restored, and renewed in a right relationship with Him and others.

We believe marriage is a covenant relationship between one man and one woman, designed by God as a reflection of His love and commitment.

We believe salvation is a gift of grace, made possible by Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice. Good works are the fruit of faith in Him but cannot save us from sin or judgment. Salvation frees us from guilt and penalty, giving us new life in Christ.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, created by God, with Jesus as its Lord and Head. The Church exists to worship God, nurture believers, and share the gospel with the world.

We believe the kingdom of God is both present and future. Jesus announced its presence, and it is established now in the hearts of believers while awaiting its perfect fulfillment in the future.

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. Though we do not know the hour, we live with joyous expectation, watchfulness, and readiness for His coming.
